Stop Islam

Dieser Beitrag erschien am 8.3.2008 auf Gegen den Strom auf blog.de. Da ich Grund zur Annahme habe, daß mein Blog dort kurz vor der Löschung steht, transferiere ich alle Beiträge hierher.

Nur anfänglichen Mut bewies das italienische Programmierkollektiv La Molleindustria in Zeiten zunehmender muslimischer Intoleranz. Sie entwickelten das Gratisspiel Faith Fighter, bei dem man seinen Glauben anfangs wählt und dann als Heilsverkünder die anderen Gläubigen vernichtet.
Speziell für muslimische Spieler wurde folgender Warnhinweis beim download angebracht:

This game is not intended to be offensive towards any religion in particular. Its aim is to push the gamers to reflect on how the religious and sacred representations are often instrumentally used to fuel or justify conflicts between nations and people.

The game contains a depiction of the Prophet Muhammed, peace be upon him. If you feel that such a depiction would be offensive, we ask you to play the censored version of the game in which the character´s face has been removed. Or better yet, don´t play the game at all.

Also wieder mal Sonderstatus für Moslems. Es könnte ja jemand beleidigt sein und damit Krawalle ausrufen und Gewalt legitimieren.
Bei Operation Pedopriest ist man zurecht weniger zimperlich, läuft man doch nicht Gefahr, einer Fatwa ausgesetzt zu sein:
